“This book is - hands down - the best book I’ve bought, and it is a whopa!”

The information contained inside these covers is simply exemplary. With so many different oils, detailing their composition along with clearly laid out contraindications with western medicines, and all in non-medical language, this is a dream reference book!

It also contains over five thousand PubMed and research papers on clinical studies specific to essential oils - which are all referenced with each corresponding oil, great for people who like ‘evidence’.

It also tackles subject areas in detail such as essential oils for infants and children, pregnancy, labour and childbirth and cancer - stating clearly with the latter that essential oils can be used alongside and not instead of oncology medication.

This is now my ‘go to’ book as it’s so easy to use and gives me all the information I need quickly. This is by far the most expensive, but in my opinion worth every penny!

“This spiral bound book dives into the support true essential oils can have on our emotional and mental health”

Many people use essential oils for physical health needs, but they are just as powerful here too by working in the brain and changing the chemistry within it. This then affects the thought processes, which lifts the mood, this then changes our behaviour resulting in us arriving at a different and better place. It really is that simple, and I speak from experience of my emotional support while dealing with my grief.

You can cross reference both ways from the properties of the oils to a long extensive list of emotions. It’s a good reference book for emotional support.

I have some free copies of this book to give away in a promotion I’m running. Contact me if you are interested in qualifying for this.

“There is one oil blend I use daily from this book and it’s beautiful”

I have seen Dr. Mariza Snyder present (virtually) and she is a fountain on knowledge when it comes to woman's hormone health, I’ve found this book to be very informative. She explains in non-medical language what is happening in our bodies, and how best to support then during this season of life.

There are many suggestions of how to use the power of essential oils and good nutrition to help alleviate some of the more unpleasant symptoms of menopause, with good results. There is one oil blend I use daily from this book and it’s beautiful.

Changing our mindset about menopause is the first step, it doesn’t have to be the nightmare we are told to dread, it can actually be liberating!

“The perfect book for beginners”

This book surprised me. All three authors openly talk about their faith in their testimonies, how and why they started using essential oils, and how they use them in their daily devotional times. This book also looks into the biblical background of essential oils and includes a detailed treatment called ‘By His Wounds’. This can be done by a family member, or you could do it on yourself as well.

Although the oil information is basic in this book, there is enough to make this a perfect book for beginners. There are oil blend suggestions and DIY recipes, and it also include some clinical research studies too. It is beautifully laid out with good use of images if you’re a visual learner.

“An incredible book…clearly laid out and easy to read”

At first I was sceptical of this book; mainly due to its title, but actually this is an incredible book. There are many essential oil books that suggest many different oils for health care needs, but when it comes to ‘how’ to use them, some of them can be a little light on the explanations. This book has suggested treatment protocols from 3-24 months in duration, depending on what it is for. It is clearly laid out and very easy to follow.

The oil information is basic at the front of the book, again perfect for beginners, but if you want to dive in deeper, there are sections toward the back that allow for an in-depth level of learning.

It also has QR codes throughout, so again if you are a visual learner, you can use these codes to bring up video clips to aid your learning. This book is specific for dōTERRA oils and blends.

This book is also included in my promotion, please do contact me if you are interested in qualifying for a free book.

“Includes many DIY recipes and blends for doTERRA oils”

This book is beautifully laid out with a lot more information on the different oils and blends unique to dōTERRA. It also starts to have some safety information in it too which is useful to have if you are wanting it as a resource for starting to share essential oils with other people.

The ‘how to use’ section; in my opinion, is not the best presentation however it does have a lot of useful information. Again toward the back there is further information going into the chemical structures of essential oils and how they are made. It also includes many DIY recipes and blends.

This too is a book in my promotion, if you are interested in finding out how to qualify for a free copy, please contact me.

“A very useful, medical book”

This book is a full on text book, and I got this for studying Clinical Aromatherapy. I bought this on the back of reviews I had read from other buyers, and it is a very useful book. It is however very ‘medical’ and at times I’ve struggled to understand sections of it.

I have used it for my studies, but not as much as I thought I would. There are no pictures, so you are left to do further research if you want to see what the plant matter looks like before essential oil extraction takes place.
